Job Description

Job Title: Business Operations Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:

Serves as the liaison between the Business Operations Manager and the Water Park. Assists to ensure all business procedures are followed for the Water Park, MRC and YMCA. Thinks, communicates and behaves as a cause-driven leader and role model for other staff and members when it comes to desired staff behaviors; promotes youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility in all job-related functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following, other duties may be assigned:

1. Assists the Business Manager; as needed with all day to day accounting and operations of the YMCA and MRC. This includes payroll backup and accounts payable.

2. Schedules all tournaments, field usage for all teams including contracts and billing. Works closely with the facility supervisor.

3. YMCA Asset records

4. MRC Asset records

5. Cover duties as needed when other staff members are on vacation or sick.

6. Provide administrative support to the Program Director over youth sports which includes processing volunteer files.

7. Manages the check out of keys and key cards for all facilities used by MRC and YMCA.

8. Supports assigned aspects of the annual YMCA support campaign.

9. Marketing Support (Web Sites, Social Media, Photography, Ads, etc.) for all areas including flyers and the MRC summer brochure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business preferably in accounting or equivalent work experience in the accounting field with governmental experience.

2. Understanding of basic accounting concepts and applications including cash reconciliation, accounts receivable, accounts payable and personnel files.

3. Experience with standard business software and office machines.
